What is fenbendazole 222 mg used for?
Fenbendazole (brand names Wormentel®) is a medication used to treat a variety of parasites (e.g., roundworms, hookworms, lungworm, whipworm, and certain types of tapeworms) in dogs.
What is fenbendazole 5 day treatment?
Wormentel® (fenbendazole 10 mg/kg daily for 5 days) treats a majority of the most common internal parasites affecting horses. It is labeled for the control of large and small strongyles (including migrating larvae), pinworms and ascarids (roundworms).

Fenbendazole, when used at labeled dosages, is generally well tolerated. Side effects that usually are not serious include: ► Dogs, cats: Vomiting, excessive salivation (drooling), or diarrhea.
